Life really is...like a box of chocolates. ----------------------------------------------- I used to wish, I could go back again. Knowing what I know now. As if I could change things... if given a chance, I'd do better somehow. But, that's not how life works. I have been thinking on it a bit, and I'm fairly sure now. We live life in the moment. We make choices, and those choices make us. Who we are meant to be, or who we ended up, really there's no difference, you see. 'Cause how we see it, taste, smell, hear it... whisper, sing, cry or yell it. However it appears to be, for us.. that is our reality. We play the hand we are dealt. But, to draw..or not. One card, two, or even three. That choice is our's. Whether an illusion,or a revelation... it's all the same, you see. In the end we still have a responsibilty, to do the best we can. If we're wrong we must learn from it. Try and do better, the futures not a given. So we have to live up, make it count. 'Cause we never know what may come next. Life is lived moment by moment. We see each moment as it comes, never knowing the rest of it. We live in the moment, so make the best of it. Choose to do better, cause we have the power... to change this world. And make it the place we want it to be. We create our own destiny. Why not choose the better way? The thing about living in the moment, is that every moment, is another chance. To choose to do better, to make this world... the kind of place we all wish it was. We shape our world every day. We can all make a difference, each in our own way. It only takes just a moment, or two. Just try it for a moment, see if it works for you.
